Distributed Network

A network structure in which components are located in different places but share resources.

A distributed network refers to a network structure where components (i.e., nodes) are located in different places but still share resources and work together to function as a single network. In a blockchain, this refers to the system where multiple nodes validate and record transactions on the ledger.
