Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT)

A measure of a company's profitability.

EBIT is a measure of a firm's profit that includes all incomes and expenses (operating and non-operating) except interest expenses and income tax expenses. It is used to analyze the performance of a company without having to factor in financial decisions or tax environments.

Example:

A crypto company's annual report may include EBIT as one of its financial performance indicators.
