About us

USDT is a stablecoin cryptocurrency tied to the US Dollar.

USDT, also known as Tether, is a type of cryptocurrency known as a stablecoin. Stablecoins are designed to minimize the volatility of the price of the stablecoin, relative to some "stable" asset or a basket of assets. USDT is pegged to the US Dollar, meaning that for each unit of USDT in circulation, there should be an equivalent amount of dollars held in reserve by the issuer. The main use case of USDT is to provide cryptocurrency traders with a way of moving money between different cryptocurrencies more quickly and efficiently than converting to traditional currency.

If a trader expects a high volatility in Bitcoin market, they might convert their Bitcoin into USDT temporarily until the market stabilizes.
